Directions: Begin by the Past Time Lounge.

Time: 2:00. Muster: 1:00 Uniform: Winter. Marchers and flags needed.

 

January 26th Krewe of Orion. Location: Downtown BR. Directions: Begin by the Pat Time Lounge.

Time: 6:30. Muster: 5:30. Uniform: Winter. Marchers and flags needed.

 

February 5th Mardi Gras Parade New Roads  

Time: TBA. Muster: TBA. Uniform: Flags and marchers are needed.

 

February 15th or 16th? 2008 (TBA) Burns Night Supper.

 

March 15th. Saturday. St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Location: Catholic Life Center at Acadian and Hundred Oaks.  

Time: TBA. Uniform: TBA. Flags and marchers needed.

 

March 29th Saturday.  Fallen Firefighters Memorial. Location: State Fire Marshals Office. Directions: Independence Blvd.

Time: TBA. Muster:TBA. Uniform: Winter (weather pending).

 

March 29th Saturday. Scottish Heritage Day. Location: Rosedown

Plantation. Directions: 61N to St. Francisville, right on 10.

Time: TBA. Uniform: TBA.

 

March 30th Sunday. Kirking of the Tartans. Location: First Presbyterian of Hammond. Directions: TBA.

Time: TBA. Muster: TBA Uniform: Winter.

 

April 12th . Swamp Celts Festival.  Location: Lamar-Dixon, Gonzales

Time: Massed bands at 10:00 but pipe and drumming classes begin earlier. Muster: 9:30. Uniform: Summer.  We will also perform in early afternoon (I am told 2:00ish but it could be otherwise.

 

April 13th Sunday. Officer’s / PR Committee meeting.  Location:  Stan’s office – 7936 A Wrenwood Blvd.

Time 2:00.

 

April 18th-20th. Arkansas Scottish Festival. Location: Lyon Collage.

Batesville, Ark.

We will not be competing as a band this year but individuals who want to go should make arrangements with each other for carpooling and lodging.

May 2nd Friday. International Day.  Location: Northwestern Middle School - Zachary.  Directions: Go up highway 19, past Main St., turn left on Avenue A and the school should be there by the RR tracks. Time:  three performance times – 8:30, 9:15, and 1:30 – make one or all.  Uniforms: Highland attire of your own liking.

 

May 2nd Friday. Relay for Life. Location: Brusly High School. Directions:  South on Hwy 1, Brusly HS is on the left).

Time: 9:00. Muster: 8:00.  Uniform: Summer.

 

May 3rd Saturday. Scottish Day. Location: Rosedown Plantation. Directions:  Take Hwy 61 to St. Francisville, turn right on Highway 10 and start looking for Rosedown Signs.

Time: Play 4x – 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00. Muster: 11:00. Uniform: Summer. Please make as many of these play times as possible.

 

May 14th Wednesday. La. State Police Memorial. Location: State Police Headquarters. Directions: Independence Park (next to Fire Marshall’s Headquarters).

Time: 10:00 A.M. Muster: 9:00. Uniform: Winter. 

 

May 17-19. Houston Highland Games

We will not be competing as a band this year but individuals who want to go should make arrangements with each other for carpooling and lodging.

 

May 25th Sunday. Kirking of the Tartans. Location: Grace Presbyterian of Lafayette. Directions: I-10, exit University and go left. Turn right on Johnston and go through the university. Turn left on Roselawn (no light but look for the Iberia bank). Go down about 4 blocks – church is on the right.

Time: TBA. Muster: TBA. Carpool: TBA. Uniform: winter.

 

July 4th Friday (?) Kenilworth 4th of July parade. Location: Kenilworth Middle School.

Time: TBA. Muster TBA. Uniform: Summer

 

July 12th Saturday. Cornamuse De Baton Rouge. (Bagpipe Competition) Tentative.

September 12th Friday. Baton Rouge Fire Dept. Graduation. Location: Independence Park Auditorium.

Time: 10:00. Muster: 9:00. Uniform:  Winter (pending weather conditions).

 

October 26th Sunday. Kirking of the Tartans. Location: First Presbyterian of Baton Rouge. North Blvd.

Time: TBA. Muster: TBA. Uniform: Winter.

 

November 9th Sunday. Kirking of the Tartans. Location: Broadmore Presb. Church. Directions: Fla. Blvd across from Cortana Mall.

Time: TBA.  Muster: TBA. Uniform: Winter.

 

November 21-23rd. Highland Games of Louisiana. Location: Jackson, La. Directions: 61N/68N/10W follow signs up 952N/College. Friday amateur competition; Saturday games, festival, piping, drumming and dancing competition; Sunday Kirkin.

 

November 23rd Sunday. Kirkin of the Tartans. Location: Jackson Presbyterian Church. Directions: 61N/68N/10W left on Bank to Erin

Time: 10:00. Muster 9:00. Play at 9:40. Uniform: winter

 

December 24th. Bocage Christmas Parade.
